# Gen-0 Rewards

### Overview

Gen-0 NFTs are the original Party Monstas — your OG crew and the very first NFTs displayed in space! Holding a Gen-0 NFT unlocks ongoing rewards, strategic gameplay, and a path to minting future generations.

Below is a breakdown of the key rewards and mechanics exclusive to Gen-0 holders:

***

### Passive $CAKE Rewards 🍰

Gen-0 Monstas earn **passive $CAKE rewards** through the **Feeding system**. When players feed their NFTs (a paid action), a portion of the fee is used to **buy $CAKE tokens from the open market** and distribute them **proportionally based on each NFT’s PXP balance**.

* The more PXP your Gen-0 has, the larger your share of the $CAKE pool.
* $CAKE rewards accumulate over time and **do not have a cap**.
* However, **unclaimed $CAKE rewards are vulnerable** to being partially stolen if your NFT becomes inactive (see "Rob-a-Monsta" below).

***

### PXP Generation (Daily Passive XP) 🧪

Every Gen-0 Monsta **automatically earns 5 PXP per day** — a passive reward that stacks up over time.

* This passive gain **caps at 50 PXP** (if unclaimed).
* Once you claim your PXP, the counter resets and starts building again.
* This is a steady way to level up your Monsta without constantly competing or paying.

Accumulated PXP plays a major role in:

* Determining your share of $CAKE rewards
* **Minting a Gen-1 NFT** (requires 10,000 total PXP)
* Boosting your chances in the **Rob-a-Monsta** game
* Unlocking access to more exclusive arcade tournaments

***

### Arcade Access & Competitive Rewards 🕹️

Gen-0 NFTs can join **Monsta Arcade tournaments**, where they compete in various mini-games for a chance to win:

* **PXP rewards**
* **BNB prize pools**

To participate:

* Your Monsta must have been **fed within the last 12 hours** to be eligible.
* If applicable, pay the listed entry fee in BNB. This grants you unlimited access to the game for the duration of the tournament as you work to battle your way up the leaderboard.

Arcade games are an active, skill-based alternative to earning PXP, designed for players who want to climb leaderboards and boost their Monsta’s stats through gameplay.

***

### Rob-a-Monsta (RAM) Eligibility

When a Gen-0 NFT goes **more than 10 days without being fed**, it becomes **inactive** and enters a vulnerable state — making it a target in **Rob-a-Monsta** (RAM), the ecosystem’s PvP-style theft mini-game.

However, if your Monsta is active (fed within 12 hours), it can **initiate robberies** instead:

* Gen-0 NFTs can **perform 1 robbery attempt every 24 hours**.
* If successful, they steal:
  * **50% of an inactive victim’s unclaimed PXP**
  * **50% of the victim’s unclaimed $CAKE**
* The other 50% of PXP gets **burned** (deflationary pressure)
* The other 50% of $CAKE goes to the **community treasury** (for future Gen-1 reward pools)

***

### Gen-1 Minting Path

Feeding and leveling your Gen-0 NFT is the only way to **unlock Gen-1 NFTs**.

* Once a Gen-0 reaches **10,000 total PXP**, it becomes eligible to **mint a Gen-1**.
* Gen-1 NFTs have their own unique benefits (free tournament access, double RAM attempts, etc.)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.monstacorp.com/monsta-party-nfts/rewards/gen-0-rewards.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
